Fractions, Poetry and Ramadan Mubarak!

Assalamu alaikum!

Dear Parents,

This week, our students have been busy with engaging and creative projects across all year groups!

🌍 Sustainability & Creativity – Year 4/5 are creating a rainforest display 🌱🌳 to remind us of the importance of nature, while in STEM, we will be exploring renewable energy technologies ⚡ and sustainability. Year 2/3 have been getting creative with Earth Art 🎨, using nature as inspiration for their artwork.

🕌 Poetry & Special Books – Year 2/3 have been preparing for Ramadan 🌙 by writing poetry ✍️ and exploring its creative elements. In Religious Education, they are excited to start learning about special books 📖 and their significance across different faiths.

➗📏 Maths & Discovery – Year 2/3 have been developing their understanding of fractions, whilst Year 4/5 have been focusing on measurement 📐, applying it to everyday life and soon moving on to time ⏳ and other key concepts.

🔺 Year 1 Adventures – Year 1 have been exploring shapes 🔵🔺, identifying them around the school and developing their knowledge of 3D shapes 🏗️. They have also been learning about adjectives ✨ and conjunctions 🔗 to make their sentences more detailed. In Geography, they have been using maps 🗺️ to find their location and describe where they live.
