Careers at Daffodil

If you became a teacher to actually know the children you teach, a class of no more than 15 changes the job. Here is what working at Daffodil is like, what we are looking for, and exactly what happens after you apply.

Why Work Here

Before applying, read about the school and our Inspections & Standards page. We publish our position honestly and expect candidates to arrive informed.

Classes capped at 15. You can hear every reader read, mark meaningfully, and adapt lessons to the children in front of you, not manage a crowd.

A school still being built. We opened in 2022 and are growing year on year. Staff who join now shape how things are done, rather than inheriting how they have always been done.

A faith-filled working day. Salah is prayed in congregation in our on-premise mosque, the day opens with adhkar, food is halal, and the timetable respects Ramadan, including closure for its last ten days.

Serious about STEM and the whole curriculum. We teach the full National Curriculum with a STEM focus, plus Qur'an, Arabic, Islamic Studies and basic Latin. There is interesting work here for specialists and generalists alike.

One team across nursery and prep. As part of Daffodil Education Group with Daffodil Nursery on site, we educate children from 2 to 11, with roles across both settings over time.
