Apply to Daffodil Preparatory School
There is no portal password, nothing to print, and no forms to collect from the office. Applying takes seven short steps, and you can stop at any point and finish later.
If you have not visited us yet, we would rather you did that first. Visits are individual and hosted by the headteacher.
Before You Start, Have These to Hand
Photos or scans are both fine. You upload them near the end.
Your child's passport, photo page
Your child's birth certificate
A recent proof of your home address
Details of your child's current or most recent school or nursery, if any
Any SEN, EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) or medical information you want us to know about
How to Apply Today
Tell us you would like to apply and the school office will start your application and send you everything you need. Call the office on 020 4539 9737, or send us your details below and we will come back to you.
The Registration Fee
A registration fee of £100 per child is payable with your application. It is non-refundable, and it is the only payment due before an offer. There is no separate deposit.
Full fees are published openly on our fees page.
What Happens After You Apply
You Hear from Us
You receive confirmation that we have your application, and our admissions team gets in touch. We reply to everything within 24 hours on working days.
Your Child Is Assessed
We invite your child in for an assessment. This is not a pass-or-fail exam. It helps us understand their current level so they start in the right groups.
We Make a Decision
If we can offer a place, the offer comes in writing with the start date and next steps. If the year group is full we offer a place on the waiting list, and you may appeal in writing to the headteacher.
Your Information
We ask only for what we need to consider your child's application. Your answers and documents are sent securely, scanned for viruses and stored encrypted. We use them for admissions and, if your child joins us, for their school record. We never sell or share your data for marketing.
Full details are in our privacy notice.
Not Quite Ready to Apply?
That is fine. Most families visit first, and some just want a conversation. The admissions FAQ answers most of what parents ask before they decide.
