🌟 Weekly Parent Blast – One More Week Until Break! 🎉

🧮 Year 1: Mastering Maths & More!

Year 1 have been busy using Dienes blocks to add and subtract two-digit numbers! ➕➖ They've also worked hard on punctuation, making sure their full stops and commas are in the right place. ✍️ In History, they explored the meaning behind history and why we learn it. Plus, they’ve been sharpening their grammar skills!

🏛️ Year 2 & 3: Romans, London & A Special Project!

This week, Year 2 & 3 have been diving into:

📜 History – Learning all about the Romans!

🗺️ Geography – Exploring the city of London.

🔬 Science – Investigating different materials and their properties.

✨ They’ve also been working on a very special literacy project, which will be ready for a sneak peek soon! Stay tuned! 👀

🌍 Year 4 & 5: Myths, Legends & The Ottoman Empire

In STEM, Year 4 & 5 have been exploring myths and legends. 🏛️

📖 In History, they have been learning about the Ottoman Empire, with some exciting activities planned next week!

🎨 Their hands-on clay projects have been getting really creative, and students can’t wait to show off their work!

Recycling Centre ♻️

After our wonderful Year 2/3 had built the recycling centre, our talented Y4/5 team have decided to create an informative report on the importance of recycling in English. Our students have also been avidly collecting valuable items which may otherwise be discarded as trash for repurposing.

🚑 Special Visitor – NHS Paramedic!

This week, we had a very special guest from the NHS! 🚑 A paramedic came in to speak to our students about working in the NHS and life-saving skills, helping to inspire future heroes! ❤️

📖 Qur’an Tests – Time to Revise!

Our Arabic team provided an update earlier this week about the upcoming Qur'an tests. 📜 Many students will be revising this weekend—best of luck to them all! 🌟

📅 Parent Meetings – Reminder

We have now contacted all parents to arrange Parent Meetings next Thursday (which will be a half-day). Please mark your calendars! 🗓️

🍽️ Lunch Price Update

Due to current VAT rulings, the cost of school lunches will increase to £3.48 per meal. This will be effective from the beginning of Feb Lunches. Thank you for your understanding.

🏆 Last Day of School & Awards Event!

📅 Last day of term: Friday 14th

🏅 We will also be holding a special awards event at 2pm to celebrate our students’ hard work! Invites will be sent out soon! 🎉
