📚 Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

🟡 Year 1

This week, children completed their Phonics Screening Check and did amazingly well – we’re so proud of them! 🌟

They were also tested on their phonics knowledge and telling the time – great effort all round ⏰🧠

On Wednesday, the children had a lovely time at Mudchute Farm 🐄🐖🐐, seeing all the animals and enjoying nature up close!

For History, we went on a local walk around Tower Hamlets 🏙 and compared places now to how they looked in the past – so exciting to see learning come to life! 👣📜

🟢 Year 2/3

We’ve been learning about light and dark in Science 🔦🌑 – experimenting with mirrors and reflective materials. The kids were amazed to see how light works! 🪞💡

In History, we’ve been discovering fun facts about the Royal Family and the British Monarchy 👑 – the children loved exploring their roles and traditions!

🔵 Year 4/5

In Maths, we’ve been reviewing key topics to strengthen our problem-solving and reasoning 🧮🧠. Next week, we’ll focus on division and multiplication ➗✖

In Science, we continued exploring animal and plant classification 🐾🌿 – building memory and making meaningful links!

👑 Next week, we’ll be aving a fun and engaging Activity Day focused on the Monarchy – more details to come! 🎨📖
