Assalamu alaikum! 🌟

Here's a glimpse of the exciting learning and creativity happening at Daffodil Preparatory School this week! 🏫✨

🌱 Year 1

This week, Year 1 students learned about plants 🌿, exploring how they grow from the soil, the features of a plant, and the functions of each part. In English, the theme was animals 🐾, where students practiced writing sentences and combined their skills to create short stories about animals.

🎨 Year 2/3

Year 2 and 3 focused on cultural art 🖌️, learning about Koru art and the Polynesian people. In History, they delved into the fascinating world of the Ancient Romans 🏺. As part of their Literacy Booster, students have been working on writing their own storybooks 📖.

🖍️ Year 4/5

Our Year 4 and 5 students have been bringing their artistic designs to life through a hands-on clay project 🏺, sparking creativity and imagination.

🏆 Masters of Creativity

Some incredible artwork 🎨 has been submitted for the Masters of Creativity competition! For those who need a little more time to perfect their masterpieces, we’ve extended the deadline to Wednesday, the 29th.

♻️ Recycling Centre

Year 3 students have taken the initiative to create a recycling centre for Daffodil Preparatory School 🌍. A fantastic project promoting sustainability and environmental awareness!
